70's Themed Dinner and Trivia Night, in celebration of the 3 series at WestWaters

Its the '70s and nothing is demureWe'll celebrate the '70s and the start of the 3 Series in particularTo push the fun along we had a light hearted '70s and 3 Series themed trivia quizPrizes were given to the winning tablesAt the heart of it all a 3 course dinner and complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks, expertly prepared and served in the WestWaters ballroomPlenty of time for conversations so you could learn something new about the '70s and your fellow attendees

Super Sprint at the iconic Calder Park National Circuit, Sponsored By Southern BM
The Super Sprint was held on Calder Park's National Circuit. It has witnessed some epic battles in the pastThankfully brought back to life and better than ever, you can test your skills against the unique blend of challenges this circuit offersFree trailer storage was offered on site, and garages could be reserved at extra cost

Racer Industries Course Car led laps of Calder Park full circuit
Even if you've never been interested in track days, how can you miss the opportunity to drive on a proper banked race track in safety in your own car?The parade laps were behind a pace car, driven at an appropriate speed for non-track driversThe full Calder Park course was used for the Course Car led laps, starting on the fabled Thunderdome banking, for a few laps and returning to the National Circuit for more laps

How well can you clean and present your car?This is not a concours or originality competitionSimply put, if the appearance and presentation can be improved by cleaning using the sorts of products sold by Sonax, then marks will be deducted. Stone chips, fair wear and tear are not penalisedThe exterior, interior, engine bay, boot, wheels and wheel arches will all be judged. Anywhere that can be seen without using tools or hoistsIts a bit of fun and a challenge to present your car at its bestThere were prizes and trophies, presented at the Saturday evening presentation dinner at WestWaters Entertainment ComplexEntrants were split up into groups, loosely based on age, based on the entries we received, so each group will have a meaningful number (winning a class of 1 is no fun) and about the same number as other classesThere are equalising points for age and kilometersThe judging was completed in time for you to join the parade laps if you so chose to

Nearing the end of our time together, this formal dinner marked a high point in the weekendSuper Sprint and Show and Shine awards were presented to respective winnersIn between courses we had special guest speakers, Bruce Stewart from Walkinshaw Andretti United and Prof Tony Walker from The Prostate Cancer Foundation You enjoyed a 3 course dinner, with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks, expertly prepared and served in the WestWaters ballroomThere was also a silent Auction of items on display throughout the night and raffle prizes. All proceeds went to the Prostate Cancer FoundationAt the conclusion of the evening, we officially handed over to the 2027 Nationals team from NSW
